From 29 October 2021 to 28 February 2022 Senigallia City of Photography, in collaboration with the Cassa di Risparmio di Jesi Foundation, presents the exhibition Rimasto nell'Ombra, a personal exhibition dedicated to the still life photographer Christopher Broadbent, curated by Mario Trevisan.

The exhibition is an excursus into Christopher Broadbent's photographic work from 2000 to today and is housed on the ground floor of Palazzetto Baviera, an evocative 14th century institutional exhibition venue in Piazza del Duca in Senigallia. It testifies to the research work that Broadbent carries out to create an atmosphere of suspension, of waiting, in his still lifes.

Christopher Broadbent is a still-life photographer. Born and raised in England, he studied cinematography and photography in Paris at the Institut des Hautes Etudes Cinèmatographiques. After a few years in Rome as assistant director, he moved to Milan to work in advertising and editorial photography. Awarded both in Italy and in the United States for his photographic works, for ten years he has dedicated himself to his research around still life.
