From 15 January to 21 January 2024
Palazzo Merulana, Fondazione Elena and Claudio Cerasi and CoopCulture, present "SOMA OPERA VIVA. Holistic Space for the Medicine of the Soul", a project conceived by Alessandra Laganà and Tommaso Marletta and curated by the NOMA World Association, represents an artistic and therapeutic adventure .
"SOMA OPERA VIVA" is based on three fundamental pillars: art, science and disease. This innovative approach creates an environment in which fragile people, supported by artists, express their creativity through painting, becoming co-authors of collective works. This process not only promotes social reintegration and inclusion but also transforms the entire process into a dynamic and engaging OPERA VIVA.
The project aims to offer immersive experiences that help participants mentally detach from their pain. The beauty of art here becomes a powerful means of healing, not requiring specific technical skills but instead stimulating learning and interpersonal relationships.
This ambitious project was selected as part of the Public Notice "Collection of project proposals for the creation of events, demonstrations, initiatives and projects of interest to the Capitoline Administration of city relevance", promoted by Roma Capitale in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Culture.
