The exhibition presents the artist's recent research with two large site-specific installations designed for the spaces of the D'ARC Foundation, along with sculptural works that, like punctuation, blend in with the permanent collection setup. The title of the exhibition, Immense Submarine Spermatozoon, unmistakably alludes to the origin of life, overturning its philosophical and biological dramaturgy, in a grotesque vision that takes the form of a submarine emerging in the territories of the Foundation, carrying algae, debris, and remains from an abyssal world. In the exhibition path, the works visually deepen the suggestion of what resurfaces from an elsewhere not better identifiable except in an ambiguous metaphor that intertwines the dimension of the underwater and that of the subconscious.
