Francesco Clemente has conceived for Palazzo Esposizioni Roma an exceptionally designed exhibition conceived as a single large installation.
In the rotunda of the main floor and in the seven rooms radiating from it, a series of significant environmental works will be exhibited, through which to retrace themes and revealing images of the work of one of the great Italian artists recognized worldwide.
Together with the Tends created in 2013, extraordinarily brought together on this occasion, the Flags of 2014 will be exhibited and two large rooms will be entirely dedicated to wall drawings created by the artist on site for this occasion.
Born in Naples, but a nomad by vocation, Francesco Clemente (born in 1952) has conceived a path centered on the idea of a Nomadic Soul, through which it will be possible to immerse oneself in the Indian and Eastern tradition that has always been a privileged source of inspiration for him and from which the artist draws to give image to the private and diary-like sensitivity that characterizes his works.
A vast symbolic and metaphorical lexicon will outline a totalizing aesthetic landscape, rich in metaphysical, spiritual, and mystical references, often intertwined with eros, always lyrical and emotional, marked by an intense, unique use of color.
