On 29 October 2019, on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the inauguration of the City of Pomezia, the City of Pomezia Museum - Laboratory of the Novecento (MCPLab900), a physical place dedicated to the modern and the contemporary in continuous formation, which reconstructs and tells - through texts, archival documents, images, objects and period films - the history of Pomezia, the "New City", born in the 1930s.
The Museum was created by the Municipality of Pomezia with the contribution of the Lazio Region as part of the "Città di Fondazione" Cardinal Action; the scientific project of the museum set-up was curated by CE.SAR – Rationalist Architecture Study Center, Fondazione Onlus.
The historical story of the Museum is developed through the Permanent Historical Exhibition, divided into five thematic sections to which are added a Specialist Library Fund and the 20th Century Laboratory area.
The museum itinerary continues outside, in the Historic Center of the City, with the installation of explanatory panels that describe the architectures of greatest historical and symbolic representation of the Foundation's Aulico Architectural Nucleus.
