Twentieth Century Laboratory
On 29 October 2019, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the inauguration of the City of Pomezia, the City Museum of Pomezia - Laboratorio del Novecento (MCPLab900), a physical place dedicated to modern and contemporary in continuous formation, which reconstructs and tells - through texts, archive documents, images, objects and period films - the history of Pomezia, "New City", born in the 1930s. The Museum was created by the Municipality of Pomezia with the contribution of the Lazio Region as part of the "Foundation City" pivotal action; the scientific project of museum set-up was curated by CE.S.A.R. - Center for Rationalist Architecture Studies, Onlus Foundation. The historical account of the Museum is developed through the Permanent Historical Exposition, divided into five thematic sections to which are added a Specialized Book Fund and the Twentieth Century Laboratory area. The museum itinerary continues outside, in the historic center of the city, with the installation of explanatory panels that describe the architectures of greatest historical and symbolic representation of the Aulic Architectural Core of the Foundation.
