On Sunday, November 24, 2024, the public opening of "Pinakothek’a" takes place. The exhibition, titled "From Cagnaccio to Guttuso, from Christo and Jeanne-Claude to Arienti," showcases part of the rich and documented collection of Elenk’art at Palazzo Sant’Elia.

The exhibition, born from a shared idea between Fondazione Sant’Elia, Città Metropolitana di Palermo, and Elenka, is sponsored by ARS (Sicilian Regional Assembly), the Regional Department of Tourism, Sports and Entertainment, and the City of Palermo.

Approximately two hundred works from Pinakothek’a are on display, selected from a collection of over four hundred pieces, mapping the production of the entire 20th century and including Italian and foreign contemporary artists. The exhibition is curated by art historians Sergio Troisi and Alessandro Pinto.

The period between the two World Wars is represented by significant paintings by various artists, while different art movements are showcased through the decades up to the present day at Palazzo Sant’Elia.

The exhibition narrates a significant period of Italian art history and beyond, featuring a wide range of artists and movements from the 20th century to the present day.
