In September 2022, another valorization agreement was signed, valid until 2025, with the Metropolitan Museum in New York.

From the MET, four splendid Cypriot vases arrived at Salinas, three of which are on display for the first time in Italy, from the High Archaic period from the famous Cesnola collection, a singular Piedmontese character.

As a result of this agreement, the Metropolitan Museum now exhibits some important finds from the excavations of Selinunte: a relief depicting the rape of Eos and Kephalos, an arula with the same subject and an archaic marble lamp of Cycladic workmanship both from the sanctuary of the Malophoros of Selinunte.
