From 19 November to 20 February 2022
As part of the celebrations for the bicentenary of Napoleon's death, the Civic Museums retrace the historical events of the Park, starting with the Napoleonic foundation in 1805, through the patrimony of works of art that in various ways were inspired by the Monza complex. The exhibition itinerary moves from the Royal Villa, which with its gardens constituted the first nucleus of landscape and architectural interest, up to the most recent artistic interpretations: a look at the Park through painting and engraving that ranges from nineteenth-century views to naturalism, from the graphic suggestions of the twentieth century to the expressionistic explosion of color.
