The show

First solo exhibition in Italy of the Japanese artist and calligrapher Sisyu who combines tradition and innovation with a philosophical approach. The selection of about 40 works includes large paintings on canvas that reinterpret classical Japanese art (also erotic) hanging calligraphic sculptures that project their shadows on the walls giving value to three-dimensionality; a large video installation, which staged the scriptures through striking plays of light and shadow, reveal the versatility of Sisyu's art on the whole.
