Luciana Matalon Foundation

The Luciana Matalon Foundation in Milan is an exhibition space founded in 2000 by the artist Luciana Matalon with the aim of creating a space specifically designed for the promotion, study and enhancement of contemporary art.

Located in the historic center of Milan, a few hundred meters from the Duomo and next to the Sforzesco Castle, in front of the "Dal Verme" theater, the Luciana Matalon Foundation intends to present itself as an exhibition space that is an international "crossroads" for new ideas and an opportunity for visual, emotional and intellectual enrichment . A place that is not influenced by trends or fashions, but which is the testimony of the values and themes proposed by the artist.

The Luciana Matalon Foundation also organizes exhibitions of painting and sculpture (among others Modigliani, Burri, Melotti, Armodio, Calabria ) and photography (among the most recent the international wildlife photography competition Wildlife Photographer of The Year and Schegge di Periferie di Nino De Pietro, in collaboration with the Alinari Foundation of Florence). It also organizes conferences and cultural initiatives, such as book presentations, conferences, meetings (we mention among many Dorfles, Veronesi, Augias, Sgarbi, Hack, Mogol ), concerts and theatrical performances.
