Luciana Heroes Foundation

Luciana Heroes Foundation

The Luciana Matalon Foundation in Milan is an exhibition space founded in 2000 by the artist Luciana Matalon with the aim of creating a space specifically designed for the promotion, study and enhancement of contemporary art.

Located in the historic center of Milan, a few hundred meters from the Duomo and next to the Castello Sforzesco, opposite the "Dal Verme" theater, the Luciana Matalon Foundation intends to act as an exhibition space that is an international "crossroads" for new ideas and an opportunity for visual, emotional and intellectual enrichment . A place which is not influenced by trends or fashions, but which bears witness to the values and themes proposed by the artist.

The Luciana Matalon Foundation also organizes exhibitions of painting and sculpture (among others Modigliani, Burri, Melotti, Armodio, Calabria ) and of photography (among the most recent, the international nature photography competition Wildlife Photographer of The Year and Nino's Schegge di Periferie De Pietro, in collaboration with the Alinari Foundation of Florence). It also organizes conventions and cultural initiatives, such as book presentations, conferences, meetings (among many we mention Dorfles, Veronesi, Augias, Sgarbi, Hack, Mogol ), concerts and theatrical performances.
