Villa Necchi Campiglio is a 1930s design villa in the heart of Milan. The Villa was donated to the FAI in 2001. Villa Necchi Campiglio was designed in the 1930s by Piero Portaluppi at the behest of the sisters Nedda and Gigina Necchi and Angelo Campiglio, husband of Gigina. The building is set in an enchanting green space, where the tennis courts and the swimming pool have been designed. Of considerable importance are the deco furnishings, the objects of use and obviously the works of art that embellish the architecture. The legacy of the Micheli and Gian Ferrari collections included the works of: Tiepolo, Canaletto, Sironi, De Chirico, Martini and Wildt. Since 2017 the villa has been enriched by the Guido Sforni Collection: 21 works on paper by twentieth-century artists such as Picasso, Modigliani, Fontana, Matisse and many others. The Villa is open to the public and since 2001 it has been managed by the FAI which organizes events in the garden.
