Vico Magistretti study museum foundation
The Vico Magistretti Foundation in Milan is a museum dedicated to the Milanese architect and designer Vico Magistretti, a figure who helped create and spread Italian design internationally between the 1960s and 1990s.
Born in 2010 after a long and fundamental work of reorganizing the archive, the Vico Magistretti Foundation is based in the center of Milan, in the studio where the architect worked for more than sixty years.
The Vico Magistretti Foundation aims to protect and enhance the archive and work of the architect and designer and wants to promote Italian architecture and design on a national and international level.
It hosts design and architecture exhibitions in its headquarters and offers guided tours, conversations and meetings on the same themes as well as workshops and educational activities for primary and secondary school students.
