The Atelier Pharaildis Van den Broeck Archive presents Project Room # 4, the first of the cycle of appointments in 2020.Monday 23 March the Georgian artist Tatjana Giorgadse exhibits a new project curated by Irene Belfi for the first time in an Italian institution .

“Each piece is, as a transformation in my perception of the world, an integral part of my reality” says the artist. This poetic imagery is implemented in a practice, that of Giorgadse, characterized by combinations of precious stones and materials of daily use. Thanks to the curatorial contribution of Irene Belfi, gallerist and scholar of the History of Contemporary Jewelery, Project Room # 4 is a moment of in-depth study on the relationship between two languages apparently as different as painting and artistic jewelery: a focus to rediscover the connection between the two disciplines and their meaning within a cross-section of contemporary visual culture.

Tatjana Giorgadse let herself be influenced for weeks by the paintings and jewelry sketches made by Phara in the first decade of 2000 and under their influence she gave shape to some objects that can be fully defined wearable works of art. Attracted by the materiality of the pictorial works, Giorgadse has decided to collect materials and objects that will finally be assembled within the archive to create an intimate and spontaneous dialogue with the creative universe of Pharailids Van den Broeck.
