Italian sculptor of international fame, Emanuele Giannelli is known for his monumental sculptures that depict contemporary man in his process of hybridization with technology and technological development. Male figures with their distinctive characteristics are at the core of the artist's reflection: a reflection that is never critical, but places these figures in the reflection of an art mirror aimed at providing a vision of humanity characterized by change and adaptation to the society in which it lives. This is also why the title of the exhibition focuses on the words "chaos" and "man" in "contemporary tension," an explanation that aims to narrate the creative essence and vision from which Giannelli's figures arise, as well as their powerful, imposing, monumental nature.

The Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, now a cultural and exhibition center of the Municipality of Milan, was originally an industrial complex producing tramway and railway rolling stock. Its industrial factory matrix blends well with Giannelli's men, who are born as children of the industrial and technological revolution, often wearing welder's goggles, an unmistakable sign of their belonging to the industrial era, while others are the dreamy vision of "white-collar workers." In this direction, the Fabbrica del Vapore is a space that further enhances the essence of modernity, contemporaneity, and visionary nature of Giannelli's works.

Giannelli's sculptures will create a surprising, effective, and exhaustive exhibition path for the public, involving the installation of around fifty sculptures, divided between individual and group sculptures. The setup is also designed to offer privileged observation spaces to visitors, with the intention of creating an atmosphere - between setup and lighting - that allows the public to enter the spirit of the place, where the invitation is to pause in the space of art, engage in a dialogue with Giannelli's figures, and encourage a slow and immersive visit to the exhibition.
