Located at 18 rue Jean Marsac, in the Merlan district (13th arrondissement), the Musée de la Moto is housed in a charming restored former flour mill and hosts one of the most complete and rare collections of motorcycles in Europe.
The museum exhibits nearly 250 models of motorcycles and cycles on over 1,200 m² spread over four levels: from the birth of the motorcycle in 1885 to modern racing machines. The chronological exhibitions feature masterpieces such as the prototype MGC 1935–38 with a unique inline 4-cylinder engine, vintage models like some Moto Guzzi, military vehicles from World War II, and rarities like the Sunbeam/Porsche 1969 prototype.
The atmosphere is made even more engaging by scenographies with vintage photographs, costumes, and interactive panels: for the younger visitors, there is the detective game "Mission Fantomard," a playful investigation among the "haunted" motorcycles, as well as an illustrative comic strip depicting the evolution of the engine.
