The Pinacoteca Civica Vincenzo Bindi is located in the center of Giulianova, in the province of Teramo. The gallery is the result of a major donation by the jurist and historian Vincenzo Bindi who left entirely to the City. The donation is housed in the building on Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi with over 400 works of art, which originally corresponded to the residence of Bindi. The gallery was opened to the public in 1978 in the apartment of Vincenzo Bindi. The collection is composed of paintings preserved, from furniture and more than 5,000 volumes in the library. The core of works is constituted by the School of Posillipo, the paintings of Giacinto Gigante, Teodoro Duclère, Consalvo Carelli, Raffaele Carelli and Antonie Sminck Pitloo. These works are also added the Abruzzo painters: Francesco Paolo Michetti, Palizzi Nicola, Giuseppe Bonolis, Raphael Pagliacetti and many others. The collection is enhanced by the Capodimonte ceramics, sculptures and a section of the Risorgimento and autographs of writers and writers of the nineteenth century.
