The Zollamt MMK is an exhibition venue of the Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt. This is the former customs office of the city. Inaugurated in 2007, it is located inside a building dating back to 1927, diagonally opposite the main seat of the museum. Within the Zollamt MMK various temporary exhibitions are organized, mainly aimed at supporting the new artistic generations of the area. In recent years, young international artists have presented their first exhibition at ZOLLAMT MMK with large-scale works, such as Bunny Rogers (2019) or Precious Okoyomon (2020). The exhibition program is mainly funded by the Jürgen Ponto Foundation, which annually awards up to two scholarships to young artists. The fellows then have the opportunity to present their work at the ZOLLAMT MMK.
