The Deutsches Romantik Museum is a Frankfurt museum dedicated to Romanticism, a key era in the history of Germany and Europe. It is located in the historic center of the city, near the Goethe house museum. It is a museum with a very recent inauguration: it was in fact opened in September 2021. Its collection includes manuscripts, letters, paintings and everyday objects interacting with each other related to the artistic and literary current of Romanticism and the period of the nineteenth century. Among the works on display, a manuscript of 1835 by the German poet Eichendorff stands out, from which it is possible to read one of the most famous poems of German romanticism, "Wünschelrute".
