Established around the 1970s, it constitutes an important testimony of a culture linked to the rural world and economy that was predominant in Corciano until a few decades ago. It is the reconstruction of a typical dwelling of the Umbrian countryside, consisting of a kitchen, a bedroom, a barn, and a plot of land, containing all the furnishings and tools of daily use, widespread before the advent of the industrial civilization. Each object is a symbol of a life linked to the hard work of the land and is anchored to deep family and religious feelings. The museum also offers an explanatory text in braille alphabet for a better enjoyment of the museum by visually impaired visitors.
