The Diocesan Museum of Caserta was built near the Church of the Redeemer SS.mo. Placed in the heart of Caserta, not far from the Cathedral, the Bishop's Palace and the Palace vanvitellian. The Diocesan Museum of Caserta documents the artistic tradition - religious of Caserta. The Diocesan Museum of Caserta contains among the best works of art that have been enhanced and expanded over time. The exhibits are mostly sacred, liturgical objects, paintings, sculptures and votive offerings from the various churches in the diocese. Currently the Diocesan Museum has about two hundred works, including paintings, sculptures, liturgical equipment, relics and votive offerings. The oldest pieces are sculptural materials ranging from the eleventh to the twelfth century and the fourteenth to the nineteenth century.
