The Bonner Kunstverein is an exhibition space and association in Cologne, committed to the dissemination of contemporary art through the creation of exhibitions.

Founded in 1963 with the aim of bringing the citizens of Bonn closer to contemporary art and offering an exhibition space to local artists, over the years the exhibitions organized within the Bonner Kunstverein have received an increasingly international and programmatic character.

Today the Bonner Kunstverein boasts a long tradition of important and popular contemporary art exhibitions. These are exhibitions dedicated to contemporary artists or to contemporary art themes. In addition, with the aim of launching emerging artists, since 1985 the Kunstverein annually awards a scholarship and since 2004 has managed a house-studio where several scholars are hosted.
