Mercedes Cuman lives and works in Milan. He graduated in Scenography from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2013 he has been a teacher of Art and Image.
In 1978, the publisher Mazzotta published “Ci visto il giorno, gli altri giorno ci imagine”, a book that collects photos and writings of the works of the group of feminist artists, of which she was an active protagonist.
In the 80s, she began her activity as an illustrator collaborating with the Alchimia studio. Illustration will remain his main activity throughout the 1990s.
Since 2004, he began his artistic activity on social issues, in particular on recent tragic events, such as wars and migrations, exhibiting in exhibitions dedicated to artists' books and Italian photography, in personal and collective exhibitions.
