Ginia, known by Spazzapan in 1932 - 1933, is the model of numerous drawings and paintings: this one, among the first executed, is a two-dimensional effect image of simple and firm setting. The large surfaces of the body are defined by quickly sketched dark lines that recall the vigor and smoothness of the stroke in the ink drawings by Spazzapan of the years 1929 - 1930. In the synthesis of the forms and in the chromatic accords there is an interest in Matissian painting that it becomes more explicit in later paintings.
