Felice Casorati was an Italian painter, engraver, designer, set designer and teacher. His painting, which takes its cue from the dream and the figurative tradition of the Italian Renaissance classicism of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, has been approached by critics to the artistic current of so-called magical realism.
