The GAD - Giudecca Art District is located on the famous Giudecca island of Venice.
The Giudecca Art District is responsible for promoting and enhancing contemporary art in the industrial archeology spaces that host them.
Its mission is to create research and work opportunities in correlation with artists from all over the world. The peculiarity of the Giudecca Art District is to be able to interact with modern architecture and the history of the city of Venice: the contemporary relates to the Renaissance and the Baroque. Architectural layering is what distinguishes the exhibition space and makes it one of a kind.
