The Fondazione Emilio e Annabianca Vedova, founded in Venice by Emilio Vedova and his wife Annabianca Manni in 2004, has been dedicated for over twenty years to enhancing the art and work of the artist through various cultural initiatives: studies, research, analysis, exhibitions, conferences, scholarships, and awards. The Foundation, chaired by lawyer Alfredo Bianchini, faithfully pursues the custody and preservation of the artist's works to promote their knowledge, in relation to the major international museums and cultural institutions.

Fondazione Vedova pays particular attention to the themes "painting - space - time - history" which constitute the coordinates of Emilio Vedova's art and commitment. There are two exhibition spaces at Zattere: the Magazzino del Sale with a restoration project designed by Renzo Piano and carried out in 2008 by Maurizio Milan with Alessandro Traldi, equipped with advanced technologies for the conservation and usability of the works, including the robotic machine that allows the creation of different exhibition scenarios; and the Spazio Vedova, a multifunctional venue capable of hosting events beyond exhibitions. Since the inaugural exhibition in 2009, the artistic direction of the Foundation has been entrusted to Germano Celant (1940-2020), curator of several exhibitions for the Foundation, such as Fabrizio Gazzarri (1953-2023), director of the Archive and the Collection.
