A treasure trove of masterpieces in the heart of Vercelli, the Borgogna Museum is located a few steps from the medieval Piazza Cavour. The three-storey building, former home of the founder, the Vercelli collector Antonio Borgogna (1822-1906), houses a rich and eclectic collection of paintings, objects, furnishings, sculptures and drawings as well as an important and prestigious historical photographic archive. Over time, the Museum has also become the home of works from the area, donations and part of the heritage of the city's Institute of Fine Arts.

Today it exhibits a heritage ranging from the fifteenth to the twenty-first century. Antonio Borgogna's House-Museum, enhanced by recent refurbishments, welcomes visitors with its collection of international breadth and origin (Bosschaert, Baldung Grien, Kaufmann, Norman, Nikoutosky), in which there is no shortage of prestigious works by Italian masters (the Sodoma , Gaudenzio Ferrari, Elisabetta Sirani, Ludovico Carracci, Massimo D'Azeglio, Stefano Ussi, Gaetano Chierici and Angelo Morbelli).

There are numerous activities throughout the year, with the review "Art makes itself felt", the "Project Daedalus" and for the youngest and families "Games ... of Art".

The educational offer dedicated to schools and special audiences is also constantly renewed.

A living museum that loves to host events and activities, surprise and involve the most curious visitors!
