The PAV Parco Arte Vivente presents the collective exhibition Theatre of Proof. Explorations between Arts and Sciences, curated by Caterina Iaquinta, Course Leader of the three-year course in Painting and Visual Arts and the two-year course in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies at the Rome campus of NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti. The exhibition promoted by NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, in collaboration with CNR Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche of Montelibretti in Rome, is the result of a study and research path that involved students of the two-year course in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies and the three-year course in Painting and Visual Arts at the Rome campus of NABA, together with the Institutes of Biological Systems, Atmospheric Pollution, Research on Terrestrial Ecosystems, Environmental Geology, and Geoengineering of CNR. With NABA teachers: Gea Casolaro, Peter Thomas Lang, Matteo Nasini, Cesare Pietroiusti and with NABA students: Joana Amil Manso da Cruz, Milena Ayllon, Giorgia Borgogno, Theresa Brost, Maria Elena Capitanio, Collettivo Zolla (Valerio Gelsomini, Alice Giuntini, Eleonora Sacco, Francesca Senatore, Simone Trapani, Marco Scirè), Valentina D'Aprile, Sara De Luis, Majd el Roumi Baradie, Corinna Esposito, Giulia Fiore, Chiara Florido, Caterina Miari Fulcis, Michele Gerace, Dalija Kaukenaite, Teresa Lafuente Lumbreras, Sofia Martinoli, Davide Mingolla, Ivana Moriello, Giulia Pistoso, Carlota rel Lombart, Silvia Santoro, Nicolò Tacmeanu, Jiani “Luna”Yang. Theatre of Proof. Explorations between arts and sciences arises from reflection on possible solutions to ecological disasters caused by increasingly aggressive extractive policies, which lead to questioning one's life choices as individuals and as a community. The working groups formed for Theatre of Proof have questioned the common elements between artists and scientists, between research laboratories and artist studios, finding a common denominator in a practice based on experiments, trials, errors, and unexpected effects.
