From October 28, 2025 to March 8, 2026, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation, News from the Near Future, a major collective exhibition celebrating thirty years of commitment to promoting contemporary art, curated by Bernardo Follini and Eugenio Re Rebaudengo, is presented.
Set up in two locations - at the spaces of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation and at the National Automobile Museum of Turin - the exhibition retraces three decades of artistic research through a selection of works from the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Collection.

Started in 1992, and since 1995 in a close reciprocal relationship with the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation, assuming the status and role of a research tool. Today, the Collection reflects the history of the institution's exhibitions, tracing one of the possible art histories from the nineties to the present, with precedents in the previous decades.

In the Foundation's spaces, historical works are compared with recent or never-before-presented works to the public, along with an archive section dedicated to the thirty-year history of the Foundation, through documents, media materials, videos, images, and works.

The section hosted in the spaces of the National Automobile Museum reconstructs genealogies that connect the history of recent art to the history of the Foundation, through iconic works of the Collection in a path that emphasizes dialogues, descents, and frictions.

More than a hundred works, created by the most representative artists of the institution's journey, explore the development of artistic language and media over a wide time span: video and video installation from Doug Aitken and Steve McQueen to Ian Cheng; sculpture from Urs Fischer to Berlinde De Bruyckere and Andra Ursuta; installation from Tobias Rehberger to Adrian Villar Rojas; photography from Cindy Sherman to Wolfgang Tillmans; painting from Glenn Brown to Tauba Auerbach and Ambera Wellmann. The exhibition is not a chronological account, but a visual, affective, and conceptual archive, built over time through exhibitions, commissions, institutional collaborations, residencies, educational and training projects.
