The Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin has its roots in the Collezione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.

Started in 1992, built through dialogue with artists, the Collezione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo is an exemplary constellation of works reflecting the plurality of research of recent decades. Since 1995, the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo has been supporting young Italian and foreign artists, with a particular focus on commissioning and producing new works, and promoting contemporary art with the aim of reaching an increasingly wider audience.

For over twenty years, the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo has been committed to contemporary art and culture. Among the first private foundations opened in Italy, it is an observatory on artistic trends and cultural languages of the present, at the intersection of art, music, dance, literature, design.

The Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo is a space for reflection that, through works, gives visibility to art and its connections with the most current issues such as globalization, ecology, work, and new technologies.

Today, the Fondazione is an internationally recognized exhibition center.
