The exhibition “Phantasmagoria Pacis”, scheduled at the National Museum Collezione Salce in Treviso (Santa Margherita location) from September 13 to November 9, 2025, offers a new narrative of peace. No longer just the absence of conflict, but the active presence of construction, imagination, and dialogue.

The event, born from the collaboration between the Venice Foundation for Peace Research and the National Museum Collezione Salce, is entirely dedicated to the theme of peace with an innovative approach, free from the dependence on war as the only reference context.

The screening of a digital elaboration by the artist Damiano Fasso will precede the event. The work will be projected onto the facade of the Prefecture Palace, a historic building in the main square of Treviso, starting from Friday, September 5, 2025 at 7 pm, for three weeks.

Through historical posters, digital works, and contemporary installations, “Phantasmagoria Pacis” invites us to see peace as a complex, fragile, and precious process that requires thought, commitment, and shared responsibility.

The exhibition path guides the visitor through an aesthetic, ethical, and existential reflection, an invitation to rediscover a possible harmony: a journey from Bach's polyphony (a symbol of coexistence) to the fragile yet powerful Venice (an emblem of vision and rebirth).

The exhibition presents a selection of over 50 historical posters from the National Museum Collezione Salce, particularly those from the post-World War II period, which tell stories of hope, reconstruction, inclusion, and coexistence. Alongside these, the works of contemporary artists such as Tobia Ravà (Padua, 1959), Abdallah Khaled (Tamrichte Bejaïa, 1954), and Damiano Fasso (Vicenza, 1976) are featured. The latter, in particular, reworks vintage posters through generative digital animations, blending past and present in an unprecedented visual narrative.
