Morando Palace | Costume Fashion Image

Palazzo Morando is an eighteenth-century residence in Milan donated to the Municipality by Countess Lydia Caprara Morando Attandolo Bolognini. Today it houses the Costume Moda Immagine collection and the art gallery.

The art gallery illustrates, through an important iconographic collection , the transformations of the urban fabric and the main manifestations of public and private life in the city of Milan between the seventeenth and twentieth centuries. Your visit also allows you to admire the original layout of the eighteenth-century rooms of Palazzo Morando according to the typical characteristics of the noble residences of the eighteenth century.

Since 2010, the Costume Moda Immagine collection shows the collection of clothes and accessories from the 17th to the 21st century . It is periodically exhibited in some rooms of the palace specially dedicated to costume and fashion.

The museum regularly organizes numerous exhibitions. Discover all the programming in the Exhibitions and Events section.
