Davide Mariani is a walking artist and the act of walking – an aesthetic feature that characterizes his research – is then declined in the form of maps, paths, visual fragments, notes, performances, installations and personal objects that retain the traces of journeys undertaken in places and landscapes linked to his personal history, visible indications of a relationship with the territory which is at the same time profound intimate introspection. In the exhibition created for the Organica Museum, Mariani presents his experiential art which not only establishes an intense relationship with the natural environment but allows the artist to retrace emotional paths, often known and habitual, and in any case never extraneous, paths to relive and touch a strongly introspective and autobiographical territory through an immersive physical confrontation.
