The Ethnographic Museum "Alfredo Majorano" is located in the old town of Taranto in the Palazzo Pantaleo. The Museum was founded in 2003 with the aim of gathering and evaluating the various testimonies of popular culture and traditional Taranto. The first group was formed by Alfredo Majorano scholar, which is dedicated to the museum, and his wife Elena Spinelli. The underlying theme of considerable ethnographic collection revolves around the magical rituals and religious in the Taranto.
