On October 9th at 5:00 PM at the Martienelli Hall of the Chamber of Commerce of Sondrio the exhibition "L'Ariosto by Alik Cavaliere" will be inaugurated.

Resulting from a collaboration between the MVSA - Valtellinese Museum of History and Art, the Chamber of Commerce of Sondrio, the Bradamante ODV Association and the Alik Cavaliere Art Center in Milan, the event proposed as part of the activities of the Furioso Festival 2025 in Valtellina, falls within the scope of the Olympics of Culture 26. The event offers an exhibition path between the premises of the Chamber of Commerce and the nearby MVSA in Sondrio, which exceptionally hosts a series of other works by the famous artist inspired by the Furioso, coming from the Alik Cavaliere Art Center in Milan, created between 1993 and 1994. These include three metal sculptures depicting two Hippogriffs and the battle of Ruggero and Rodomonte, and two large pastel and watercolor paintings, which whimsically and playfully narrate the epic and love stories of the great poem by Ariosto.

The event will be attended by the Councilor for Culture, Education and Instruction of the Municipality of Sondrio Marcella Fratta, the president of the Chamber of Commerce Loretta Credaro, the president of the Bradamante Association Silvana Onetti, the president of the Alik Cavaliere Art Center in Milan and the curator of the exhibition Elena Pontiggia. The visit to the artworks will continue at the MVSA rooms.
