Much Wenlock is located on the High Street opposite the square in the village of Much Wenlock (Shrewsbury). It is part of the Shropshire Museums. Despite being a truly small museum, displays include the history of the links between Dr. William Penny Brookes and the Olympic Games, the history of the city and the Priory, and the geology of Wenlock Edge. The Visitor Information Center is located in the Museum and the staff are on hand to answer any questions about attractions and events, tours, walks, places to stay and even family history!
