The Baruchello Foundation was founded in 1998 following the donation of the artist Gianfranco Baruchello of about five hundred works including painting, sculpture, objects and videos as well as a library of about forty thousand volumes, cinematographic equipment and the site itself partly intended for spaces for residences, artist studios and workshops. The Baruchello Foundation builds its activities, divided between the headquarters of Santa Cornelia and that of the Vascello, based on the artist's philosophy, according to which contemporary art is a language that allows us to think and imagine new forms of coexistence in the world.
