From 25 September to 25 September 2021
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2021, the Spada Gallery proposes a series of educational segments inside the Secret Garden of Palazzo Spada, to discover the famous Illusive Perspective. Created by Francesco Borromini for Cardinal Bernardino Spada, the admirable invention represents one of the cornerstones of Baroque poetics. The illustration will be accompanied by a series of perspective demonstrations, by the staff of the Gallery, for a duration of about a quarter of an hour; the initiative will be repeated during the evening and the group will gather according to the indications of the Museum Staff. Reservations are not required, but admission to the rooms - included in the ticket - takes into account the maximum numbers imposed by security; therefore, a short wait at the entrance may be necessary.
