From 13 April to 12 May 2024
“Photographing the National Roman Museum” is a project carried out by the students of the RUFA Photography Course in the spaces of the Baths of Diocletian.
Thanks to the collaboration with the ICCD, a real commission was started which led the participants to deal with a photographic documentation project for cultural heritage.
The photographs will be exhibited in an exhibition at Palazzo Altemps from 13 April to 12 May 2024 , curated by Giorgio Di Noto and Chiara Giobbe. A publication published by the ICCD will also be presented which offers a rich and complete restitution of the work created.
This is the second chapter of a project, born from the collaboration between the Central Institute for Cataloging and Documentation and the Rome University of Fine Arts, for which every year a RUFA photography class works on the documentation of a museum or a cultural institution.
A meeting to present the project is scheduled for April 12th at 5:00 pm in the Theater of Palazzo Altemps entitled Documenting Cultural Heritage . Free entry within the limit of available seats.
