From 18 April to 21 September 2025
Together with society, architecture changes and with it the tools used to produce and communicate it. The exhibition explores this change through the evolution of its main tool: drawing.
Today, traditional drawing is being replaced by digital simulation procedures, practices derived from the world of art, exercises in political activism and participation that impact the architectural discipline and the present and future of the spaces we design and inhabit.
The exhibition documents this change through the works of authors from the 20th and 21st centuries. Starting from those for whom drawing represented the identity of architecture, such as Carlo Scarpa or Aldo Rossi, the exhibition path goes on to showcase the work of authors like Gordon Matta-Clark, Frank Gehry, or Philippe Rahm, for whom architecture today is also made of collages, videos, performances, textiles, and much more.
