The show

The exhibition "Rainaldi, Calma tu alma" curated by Luca Beatrice and Gabriella Musto , was presented at the Pantheon - Basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres in Rome on April 20 and will remain on display until June 15.

Great public success at the vernissage which took place yesterday, Thursday 20 April 2023 at 6.30 pm. In addition to the artist and the curators, Mariastella Margozzi , director of the State Museums of the City of Rome, Gabriella Musto, curator and director of the Pantheon - Basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres, Lorenzo Zichichi of "Il Cigno GG Edizioni", organizer of the 'event.

A concert for soprano and harp, coordinated by Maestro Roberto Giuliani of the "Santa Cecilia" Conservatory, opened the exhibition. The second sculpture (2023) is a bas-relief created by Rainaldi with marble from Vietnam (White Cristall), with LED backlighting, with a diameter of approximately two and a half meters and a height of four meters including the base. It was placed under the pronaos and represents a Crucifixion/Resurrection made evident by the posture.

A harmony between art and faith that can be manifested not only by looking at the great masterpieces of the past but also at the happy expressions of contemporary art. “ I have always been in favor of the arts and the exhibition of works in churches, home to great ancient, medieval and Renaissance masterpieces ” declared Daniele Micheletti.
