The MoDusArchitects, Matteo Scagnol and Sandy Attia , live and work in Bressanone. Atelier Remoto, an architecture studio born in 2014, founded by Valentina Merz and Lara Monacelli Bani. They are the winners of the Italian Architecture Award 2022 , while the Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Andrea Branzi .

Giovanna Melandri, President of the MAXXI Foundation will take part in the awards ceremony, scheduled at MAXXI today, 14 June , at 6.00 pm; Stefano Boeri, President of the Triennale Milano (in connection); Pippo Ciorra, Senior curator of MAXXI Architettura. Present the MoDusArchitects, Atelier Remoto, Andrea Branzi in connection.


Now in its third edition, the Prize continues to represent the commitment of the two institutions in the enhancement of Italian architecture, through the promotion of works created by Italian designers or active in Italy, whose commitment is aimed at innovation, the quality of project and the social role of architecture.

The Prize includes: recognition for the best building or intervention built in the last 3 years; recognition for the best young designer (awarded in alternate years to the winner of the NXT MAXXI L'Aquila project, and the TYoung Claudio De Albertis Award for Triennale Milano); a Lifetime Achievement Award and several Mentions.
