From 4 December to 7 March 2021
The survey on the work of the most interesting architects, which MAXXI has been carrying out since its first year of activity with the Nature project, continues with an invitation to Maria Giuseppina Grasso Cannizzo.
Nature is a "multi-layered" project that asks the invited authors to express the state and essential contents of their work with an installation, stimulates them to confront themselves with the equally authorial space designed by Zaha Hadid, provokes them into a direct confrontation with the ways of occupying the exhibition space typical of art: site-specific installation.
Grasso Cannizzo, Sicilian architect author of a series of spectacular residential projects in Sicily, already present at MAXXI with the very successful installation of the Bellissima exhibition, is the perfect guest for Nature: for the ability to move with rigor and freedom between spatial invention and technical expertise, transforming the relationship with the client into an anthropological experience that directly nourishes architecture.
