Lina Bo Bardi. A Marvelous Entanglement is the moving homage of the English artist and filmmaker Isaac Julien to the great Italian-Brazilian architect. It is an impressive nine-channel video installation, accompanied by a photographic series, filmed in different locations in Brazil, including the São Paulo Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in Bahia and the Gregório de Matos Theater in Salvador de Bahia.

The title is a quote from one of the best known and most evocative passages in Lina Bo Bardi's letters ("Time is not linear, it is a wonderful tangle in which, at any moment, points can be chosen and solutions invented, without beginning or fine »), played here by two of the greatest actresses of Brazilian cinema and theater, Fernanda Montenegro and her daughter Fernanda Torres.
