From 30 May to 31 August 2025
Impressing his visionary imprint on the place, Del Debbio designed an architectural-landscape work in which the buildings would interact with the surrounding nature, and where marble, in its various structural or decorative uses, would be the protagonist in the elaboration of a personal poetics in balance between classicism and modernity.
The Archive of Enrico Del Debbio, one of the first to enter the MAXXI Architecture Collection, documents the architect's activity from 1909 to the 1970s, and in particular his greatest intervention: the Foro Italico complex.
The archival materials converse with contemporary photographs by Begoña Zubero, specially created for the exhibition.
