From July 4 to September 21, 2025, Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome hosts CAROLE A. FEUERMAN. The voice of the body, the first major anthological exhibition in Italy of the American artist Carole A. Feuerman, one of the most surprising protagonists of contemporary pop superrealism, capable of shaping the human body into a powerful, vivid, and deeply emotional narrative.

Best known for her highly realistic sculptures depicting bathers, swimmers, athletes, dancers, and nudes, Feuerman has placed the representation of the body at the center of her art. She creates figures that seem to live, suspended between reality and imagination, capable of moving, questioning, and fascinating; works through which the human body becomes a universal language, speaks of deep emotions, tells inner battles, reflects the contradictions of contemporary society. It is a body that feels, vibrates, looks at the world through the lens of the senses, and becomes a symbol of a fragile and immensely powerful human condition.

The exhibition brings together a wide range of works from the seventies depicting fragments of predominantly female bodies, in many cases laden with erotic implications, connected to postmodern dynamics and feminist claims. The creations of the following decades, through small details and multiple expressions - from wet skin to the most intimate manifestations - transform sculpture into a form of storytelling that goes beyond the static image. Each work is a small universe that speaks of beauty, identity, memory, and transformation.

Her technique combines materials such as resin, bronze, silicone, stainless steel, and paint, which almost seem ready to move or tell a story.
