Palace Merulana, from the synergy of forces and common purpose between Foundation Elena and Claudio Cerasi CoopCulture, è a space dedicated to culture and all’ art available to the cityà ;. L’ imposing structure Umbertino style, once the Office of Hygiene, recovered thanks to a project financing by the Foundation Cerasi and SAC spa, now houses a rich Cerasi collection, works d’ modern and contemporary art, primarily of the Roman school and Italian twentieth century.

Merulana Palace has four plans. Downstairs the Hall of Sculpture, space open access that houses the sculptural part of the collection and the Culture Concept Store, an extended and relaxed environment where’è visitor experience; facilitated by’ integration of information, ticketing, bookshop and café. The Show on the second floor, where most of the collection is housed,è designed and furnished like a large, comfortable lounge where you can relax, linger and appreciate the works of Mafai, Donghi, De Chirico, Cambellotti Capogrossi, Balla, among others. Gallery of the third floorè a dynamic space that houses temporary exhibitions from time to time. Further up, the Room Penthouse, multifunctional, versatile and chameleon-like, to organize cultural events and private initiatives; Finally the Terrace, a privileged place on Via Merulana.
