Piazza del Comune - Prato, Tuscany, Italy open

closed Meeting with the curator Francesco Bonami

The event

The first of the meetings organized by the Palazzo Pretorio Museum on the occasion of the Hi Woman! The news of the future, ongoing until February 27, 2022.

The curator Francesco Bonami, together with the Director of the Museum Rita Iacopino, will deepen the themes of the exhibition through the reading of the works of the 22 international artists, each bearer of a different but current message and immersed in contemporary reality, and of the nine paintings that have as their subject the Annunciation, exhibited at the Praetorium.

With painting, sculpture, video and sound, the artists announce distant mysteries and nearby realities in the exhibition, each with a powerful and meaningful work capable of withstanding the comparison with the masters of antiquity from the collection of Palazzo Pretorio, sometimes finding a harmony, sometimes creating powerful and stimulating short circuits for the audience.

On this occasion, the Catalog of the Exhibition published by Edifir Firenze will be presented.
