Gino Bartali Cycling Museum
The Cycling Museum Gino Bartali is located in the small town of Ponte a Ema, near Florence, and is part of the Civic Museums. The Museum is dedicated to the great Tuscan champion Gino Bartali and the history of the bicycle. The museum's collection includes the most important objects of the Champion's career, from 1931 until 1954. Part of bicycle collection, cups, medals, photos, documents, books, magazines, publications, links, pictures and interviews. In addition, the museum has a room dedicated to the history of cyclists with their biographies and links. Instead, the third session hosts the vintage bicycles that belonged to great champions like Giuseppe Olmo, Fuasto Coppi and Antonio Maspes. The visit to the museum is enriched with video and audio often narrated by the protagonists recordings.
