The Kunsthalle Nürnberg is a Nuremberg exhibition center dedicated to contemporary art. Inaugurated in 1967, the museum organizes various thematic, monographic and often interdisciplinary temporary exhibitions. The exhibitions are often dedicated to contemporary artists of national and international fame, but a further objective is also to promote and give space to young emerging artists. The Kunsthalle Nürnberg offers a wide range of cultural activities, with over 5,000 events every year: exhibitions with a wide range of educational opportunities, film and film festivals, dance theater performances and concerts, projects on digital culture and specific offers for different groups of age and target. Among the major exhibitions organized there is that of Alicia Framis, Fiona Banner, Tatiana Trouve, Susan Hiller, Mircea Cantor, Eric Hattan, Juergen Teller.
